Local
Attractions
Saline is a small village with a Post Office, shop, Church, 9 hole
golf course and Saline Hotel which provides good home made food.
Dunfermline
is our closest city with over 900 years of Scottish history to explore.
Abbot House tells the story of past and present. Dunfermline is
the last resting place of many Scottish Kings and Queens and well
worth a visit. A day in Dunfermline would not be complete without
a day in Pittencrieff Park with its children's play area, greenhouses,
woodland walks and skating area.
Other historical interests nearby include the preserved village
of Culross,
Wallace
Monument in Stirling and Edinburgh Castle.
For those who like to shop we have Sterling
Mills at Tillicoultry, 10 minutes drive away, a shopping Mill
Trail which takes you along the Ochil Hills to Stirling.
Other attractions are Deep
Sea World, Kathellan
Craft and Food Centre and Knockhill
Racing Circuit which is home to the Superbike and British Touring
Car Racing.
Apart from our own 9 hole golf course in Saline, we are only an
hours' drive away from the famous golf courses in St
Andrews and 20 minutes from Gleneagles.
